Board Certified Tax Attorney, MBA, CPA, CFP, JD, LL.M in Taxation. Twenty-two years of practice at the highest levels. Retired 2011.

Physical discipline

315-lb bench press at age 70. Three decades of shared training with his wife Barbara. Martial arts across multiple disciplines.

Adventure record

Jet ski, Juneau to Seattle. Motorcycles across three continents. Cirrus SR22 G7+ pilot — private certificate, high-performance endorsement, and instrument rating, all earned after 70.

Origin

Immigrant from Nova Scotia, age 13. Arrived in Florida in 1964 with a family of nine and no safety net. Graduated 715th out of 730. Built everything that followed.
